THE SPIRIT IS ALIVE AT WEST SIDE
 West Side is a United Methodist Church. We have long been involved in outreach programs to help “our neighbors” and to increase our spiritual health. Since its beginning the Methodist Church has been involved in service. The Thrift Shop and Save The People food program date back to the early 1970’s. West Side Methodist is part of the Skylands District of the Greater New Jersey Conference.

 As parts of the Body of Christ, we are the only feet, hands, bank account, and mouthpiece that Jesus has on this earth.
Volunteers embody Christian love in action by bringing their talents to Christian service.
 To the world you might be one person; to one person you could be the world.
 They will know you are a Christian by your love.

GODS ARE WHATEVER YOU WORSHIP, STOP BEING A POLYTHEIST.                    ANALYZE HOW YOU SPEND YOUR TIME.

 PREDICTIONS FOR 2022
THE BIBLE WILL STILL CONTAIN THE ANSWERS
 PRAYER WILL STILL WORK.
JESUS WILL CONTINUE TO LOVE YOU.

At West Side you will find that there are a variety of ways to be fed by the study of Scripture and other appropriate materials which are based on Scripture and Scripture teachings.

In all of the study opportunities, you don't need to come with a working knowledge of Scripture.  Your questions are welcome. We are all learners.
 Copies of “UPPER ROOM” are usually available in the entrance area of the church building. It is a devotional lifestyle magazine.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Suspended during revision
Christian Education for children from the point when parents are comfortable to leave them and attend worship up to 12 years of age on Sundays takes place each Sunday morning at 10:00 AM from September through May. The children start at the worship service in the sanctuary, and are dismissed from there during the Worship Service to go to Sunday School. Children receive a basic knowledge and a joyful sense of belonging to Jesus Christ. Our policy is to have two adult teachers for each class, with adequate substitutes to assure a high quality educational experience. West Side has adopted and enforces a Safe Sanctuary Policy.

The Mission of the West Side Church is;
(1) To help people to have the assurance of their salvation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the born again experience through the work of the Holy Spirit.(2) To nurture people through God's Word and prayer so that they become disciples  of Jesus.(3) To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the end of the  earth (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8) (4) To minister to our second  generation  so that they can have the inheritance  of good faith in Jesus Christ and their own identity.

Our Vision describes our church’s future. It is where God is calling us to go.
Our mission reminds us why we’re here.
